So I've heard a lot about Medieval Times and never really had any interest in going. This is another FIRST that Laurie, a good friend of mine managed to convince me to do. She is always full of life, it's kinda hard not to be infected with her enthusiasm so I always love trying new things with her : )
We went to the Toronto Castle. I must say I was amazed with the 2 hour long exciting, interactive, live dinner and show/tournament. Each section of the audience was broken up into coloured teams, we were able to cheer our knights or boo the competition in good fun. The red knight below is our knight, GO RED!! ..... and yes, he WON, YEAH!!!!
And talented dancing horses too!
In addition to the wonderful show, there was so much food! We had bottomless drinks (non-alcoholic that is!), tomato soup with garlic bread, creamy, buttery corn on the cob, delicious baked potato and half a chicken baked to juicy, tasty perfection. On top of all that, we had butter tart and coffee or tea for dessert! The catch is, you had to eat with your hands, no utensils. The kids really enjoyed this part and I have to admit I did too because everything was finger licking good! I must apologize for not being able to show you all the food, it was too delicious, wasn't able to capture them in time ; )
If you can't finish everything, you can request for a take-out container so you won't waste all that yummy food.
Give it a go if you're looking for something fun to do with the family!
'Till next time,
xox Lily.
