Batu Ferringhi Night Market In Penang, Malaysia

One of the reasons why I enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Resort is the Batu Ferringhi Night Market In Penang.  During the day, we get to hang out at the pool or the beach and at night, it is only a 5 minute walk to the Night Market.

This is a major tourist attraction at Batu Ferringhi.  It has more than 100 stalls and stretches up to one kilometre.  After eating dinner at the local eatery which is just a couple of blocks down the same street, you can leisurely walk through the market soaking in the local atmosphere or on the look out for a special find.

They sell souvenirs, accessories for ladies, shawls, scarves, pashmina, swimwear, beachwear, CDs, tshirts, hair accessories, etc

but mainly imitation brand name purses, bags and watches such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Channel just to name a few:

and various art work:

Since this night market is set up for tourists, the prices are higher than usual so remember to bargain and practice your haggling skills!
