It is so easy to have beautifully decorated cupcakes in minutes!  I had so much fun decorating them.  I made a batch of guilt-free version of Martha Stewart's Devil's Food Cupcakes.  I've replaced white flour with oat, graham and whole wheat and took out one cup of sugar.  They were so delicious and nutritious that you can have lots, guilt-free!  In fact, I give these to my kids for breakfast and they love them!  They're definitely a healthier version of a typical muffin.

It is actually surprisingly easy to decorate professionally looking cupcakes.  You just need some sort of frosting such as butter cream or fresh cream.  You can either make it yourself or buy the Betty Crocker frostings from the supermarket.  Ready made frosting Betty CrockerIf you prefer, you can also add fruits or candies as toppings.

There are so many different frosting piping tips out there but you really just need three main ones:

and "Flat" or "petal" tip
