When I don't have the time to make delicious chicken satay skewers from scratch, I like to use these marinade and dipping sauces, again, back by popular demand, my "all-in-a-bottle" recipe!
You'll need:
Satay marinade:
satay sauce (I use this for dipping):
chicken (in this case) or beef, whichever you prefer, oil and skewers.
Cut chicken breasts into cubes (you can also use chicken thighs, which will taste juicier!):
Add 1 pack of satay marinade: And a tablespoon of oil (package instruction), combine well:
Add to chicken:
Combine well:
Marinade over night:
The next day, string meat onto skewers:
Heat BBQ, grill pan or frying pan using medium-low heat, oil pan well:
Grill each side for 4 minutes:
Voila, Bonne Appetite! Don't forget to dip them into the BBQ Satay sauce (the one in the jar) before eating!
