This Chinese style ginger onion lobster is so delicious yet so easy to make!

Ginger Onion Lobster

You'll need:

- 2 live lobsters cut into pieces (the fish mongers usually are willing to cut it for you).

- 4 slices of ginger, 6 stalks of green onions cut into 3" long

- Hoisin Sauce, Oyster Flavoured Sauce, Maggi Sauce:

- Corn starch

Heat a pot of oil (only ⅓ full) on medium heat.  If too much oil, it may over flow and cause danger!

Meanwhile, coat lobster with ½ cup hoisin sauce, 2 TB Oyster flavoured sauce and 2 TB corn starch:

Once the oil is ready (test by sprinkling a tiny drop of water or a tiny piece of lobster in the pot, if it sizzles, then the oil is ready) deep fry lobsters in batches, 5 minutes per batch.  Every stove is different, so you may need to turn the stove down to medium-low, if the lobsters are browning too quickly.

You may want to deep fry the lobster head too.  I was told even though it's full of artery clogging, bad cholesterol, the brain (and sometimes you'll find eggs) are really delicious and totally worth eating!

In another pot, heat 1 TB of oil, stir fry ginger and green onions.  Then add the deep fried lobsters.

Add 6 dashes of Maggi Sauce to enhance the flavour.  Stir fry for another 5 minutes until well combined.
