This is the first thing our kids' friends ask for when they come to our house. It's so easy to make and is delicious and full of antioxidant, calcium and NO sugar added.
All you need are as follows (chocolate milk and grounded flax seed are optional):
Split banana into a few pieces with hands:
Add 1 cup of frozen berries. I prefer frozen because it gives the milkshake a "slushy" texture. This is especially refreshing during hot summer days. Add 1 tablespoon of grounded flaxseed if using. This is a great source of fiber and omega 3 fatty acid.
Add 1 cup of milk:
I use the Magic Bullet. Blend... for a few seconds...
