Vending machine capital of the world is no doubt Tokyo Japan. In our short trip there, we saw vending machines of all sorts everywhere, literally, everywhere.
Vending Machine Capital
Vending machines for drinks are at Senso-Ji Temple:
on the streets:
Or built as part of a facade of a house:
outside of a store:
Or the Tsukiji Fish Market:
Inside an indoor shopping strip:
Or right outside the subway station:
Vending machines are not just for drinks, you also use it to place an order to purchase food tickets at a restaurant:
My favourite photo has to be this brand new coke vending machine right outside of this historic, run down building.
One thing I learned about Tokyo is that you will never go thirsty... as long as you bring along lots of coins!
'Till next time,
